Two Colorado women had the encounter of a lifetime this weekend, when they were both trampled by a bull moose. Jacqueline Boron and Ellen Divis were hiking near the city of Black Hawk early Sunday morning. They had their dogs with them, but this was not enough to scare away the charging moose. Within a matter of seconds, Boron was knocked unconscious and injured badly. Divis was able to get away with minimal damage and phoned rescue services immediately. Doron was taken to the hospital and ended up with four broken rips, eight staples in her head, two broken wrists, and about 20 stitches in her legs. A word of advice from Boron is "Don't hike when you know there's moose out there." Such educated and powerful advice should be taken seriously.

B.A. Baldwin
Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Tuesday for apparently riding his bicycle against the flow of traffic near his New York home. When police stopped Baldwin, he became agitated and began yelling at the officers. The police then asked Baldwin for his identification, but he didn't have it with him. Baldwin was then taken into custody. After being released, he went to Twitter to voice his opinion on the incident. He posted, "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign." The "30 Rock" star has clashed with authorities before. This past August, Baldwin was also in contact with the police when both he and a photographer called the authorities after a scuffle. Baldwin argued that the photographer insulted and was too close for comfort.

Finding MH370 becomes more difficult
Officials from China, Malaysia, and Australia met Wednesday to determine what further measurements will be taken in order to find flight MH370. After over 60 days of no meaningful evidence, these new strategies will be far more expensive and very difficult. Australian Deputy Prime Minister Warren Tuss made a statement earlier in the week stating, "We know the water is very deep, and for the next stage involving sonar and other autonomous vehicles, potentially at very great depths, we need to have an understanding of the ocean floor to be able to undertake that kind of effectively and safely." The next phase will focus on about 40,000 square miles of the Indian Ocean, which may take up to six to eight months. The main reason this area is so difficult to maneuver around is because it has never been mapped.

Banned for life.
http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2014/04/29/donald-sterling-banned-for-life-from-nba/Pz3cekWsAL4z6nGnvA7p7N/story.html NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling from all league activity for life. To go along with this ban, Sterling must also pay 2.5 million dollars in fines and is being forced to sell the team. After various racist comments were made by Sterling, the league dropped the hammer atop his head. Numerous NBA veterans and sports analysts voiced their opinions on the situation and almost all have sided and agreed with the decision the NBA made. Unfortunately, the decision was far harsher than it should have been. Although Donald Sterling's comments were extremely inappropriate and down right idiotic, a ban for life is the result of a situation being taken too far.

1992 vs 2012 Dream Team Recap
Last night, 8ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the game of all games was played by some of the best athletes in history. The almighty 1992 dream team matched up against a much younger 2012 dream team. The outcome came as no surprise to forward Charles Barkley of the 1992 team. "I wiped the floor with LeBron tonight," says Barkley, "the kid wasn't ready for what he got." Barkley led both teams in scoring with a whopping 64 points, along with 18 rebounds and 7 blocked shots. Sir Charles was at his best last night. Other notable players from last night were as follows; Michael Jordan, 32, Kevin Durant, 29, Christian Laettner, 45, and of course LeBron James, 4. The final score tallied up to be 175-164 after quadruple overtime. A game that will be discussed for decades to come ended in a manner of great thrill and sportsmanship.

George Zimmerman at it again
Apparently George Zimmerman can't handle being out of the spot light of world-wide news for more than a few months. The Floridian is now claiming he wishes to pursue a legal career in order to stop the "miscarriage of justice". Zimmerman has been in and out of the lime light ever since his fateful encounter with Trayvon Martin last year. After his acquittal in the shooting death of Martin, George Zimmerman has had quite a few run ins with the law. Multiple speeding tickets and more than one domestic disputes. Zimmerman has also apparently agreed to a boxing match with rapper DMX. A lot of controversy has risen from this news because Zimmerman said that Trayvon Martin was beating him in hand to hand combat just before he was forced to use deadly force and shoot the teenager in order to save his own life. Obviously is a skinny 17 year old kid can out punch you, it's pretty clear that DMX, an amateur boxer, would destroy Zimmerman. All in all, George Zimmerman just does not know when to say when.

Climbing Crocodiles
A recent study has shown that crocodiles and alligators have the ability to climb into trees and ascend up to 16 feet high. University of Tennessee researcher Vladimir Dentis recorded these events and concluded the reptiles, being cold blooded, would venture into the branches seeking warmth when there was minimal "bankage" for sun bathing. Multiple studies were done on three continents: North America, Africa, and Australia. Along the Nile, crocodiles were described as skittish and would fall into the water or jump out of the trees when they were approached. Apparently no one has seen this before, and it sounds like it's a very normal thing.
